On Sunday our wonderful Katie Kinnon and Kitty Walkden took our principal cast of Jekyll & Hyde to Blists Hill Victorian Town for a promotional photoshoot.
Our portrayal of Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical is that of a Steampunk aesthetic which we hope will give more depth to our characters and make for some unique costuming choices not seen in this show before. Furthermore, with the musical being set in Victorian London, Blists Hill was the perfect choice for our photoshoot location and we are so grateful to the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust for allowing us access to the site and being so welcoming to us.
Our costumes gained a lot of interest from tourists visiting the site, as did some of the poses our cast were staging in front of the camera - some against our photographer's choices! However, it was clear that the whole team involved in the photoshoot had great fun exploring the site and experimenting with how they could portray different scenes from the show in a real-life setting. We couldn't be more happy with the result and how Katie and Kitty have brought the show to life with the help of the cast in these images!
To see more of the photos taken on the day, follow us on Facebook where more photos will be released in the next couple of weeks. Our show programme will also contain exclusive photos from the photoshoot!
